Thank you to Dad (Gary) for the snapshot!
That is a cat. My parents cat Spike to be specific, and yes, he’s watching a deer on TV. Seems quite absorbed in the program if you asked me. I wonder, is it because it’s riveting to watch the deer romp through the woods, or is it because he can’t operate the remote with his furry paws and change the channel? We may never know.
A person watching the same show may think “Oh what a beautiful deer”, or “Boy I can’t wait for hunting season”, but a cat……could go any one of these ways:
“Hey that’s a funny looking cat on TV.”
“Really, don’t these human’s know how to change the channel.”
“If I ignore the people by staring at this big box like they do, maybe they’ll give me a treat.”
“Carful, act casual and they’ll never assume you were up to anything bad before.”
Take your pick. Now we may not know what he’s thinking, but we do know cats aren’t idiots. They get a warm home, they decide when we are going to pet them, they somehow know exactly when you have finally got all the cat hair off your outfit so they rub on you again; and if that doesn’t convince you, they have us trained to scoop their POOP! Not dumb at all. All this leaves me with one other question.
What do city cats watch on TV?
