Have you noticed with all the Christmas decorations and presents, two things are a pretty sure thing...

#1 The little children have as much fun (if not more) with the box as they do the present.

#2 The family pet thinks the tree was put up for them to play with or bark at.

There is something wonderful about how the imagination peaks at Christmas time. From trying to pick the perfect gifts, to making the perfect snow angel. The directions along on assembling a child's toy can make the brain work harder than any time of the year. Hahaha!

I'm sorry for anyone who has never experienced all that Christmas can be. It's not about how many presents or how much money was spent, but about family and giving and especially our saviors birth. God started the gifting by giving His Son to die that we might be saved.

You may think that you don't have much to give, but you do! You can give a smile or handshake. Or the gift of compassion or friendship. How about the gifts of loyalty and devotion. Of faithfulness. Gifts of the heart, though they are often thought of as gifts you can't wrap, I disagree. Each gift of the heart is wrapped in love....Wow what a wrapping.
