Life is hard sometimes…
Surprised I came right
out and said it, well there it is. Even God himself in his infinite wisdom
warned us of this very fact in his scripture; “I have
told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you
will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John
16:33) But did we listen….
Now you are probably asking yourself “why is Anita sharing all
this good news”; because we need to know. We also need to know there is
something we can do about it!
·
Stop
blaming God, he is NOT the one who brought sin into the world.
o
Thank
God because he is there for you and can make a way through.
·
Attitude!
Constant whining, grumbling and complaining isn't going to fix anything,
encourage you or make you a joy to be around.
o
Find
something to be thankful for and say it. A loved one, a pet, a beautiful day
out. Encourage yourself and keep a positive mindset.
·
Watch
your mouth. How can you ever get through and have victory from hard times when
the only things coming out of your mouth are; I can’t, it won’t, I've given up,
etc.
o
When
you want to oops with your mouth, pause and turn the words around; I can, it
will, I will never give up, etc.
·
Quit
holding onto unforgiveness. You can’t see your way to a hope and a future if
you are always looking to the past. Unforgiveness will eat you alive.
o
Forgive.
After we beat, whipped, tore his beard out, and drove a crown of thorns in his
head, we drove large nails through Jesus hands and feet and hung him on a cross.
What did Jesus do….he said Father forgive them. Jesus had peace.
Life
is beautiful!
Don’t let hard times break you, make them your stomping ground to
victory!
For I know the plans I
have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
