Monday.....your favorite day of the week.

Ok....I've been a slacker....I won't even look back to see how long it's been since I gave my finger tips a keyboard workout. You'd think with technology and a mobile app I'd at least thumb-er-size and work out my thumbs but......nope I haven't. Guess it's time to do something about it, so here goes! 

How was your Monday? 

Oh WOW....I just felt a wave of grumbling....lol. (Perhaps you noticed my eye roll pic....yep sums it up.)

For all the griping and complaining we ALL do about Mondays, you'd think the definition of the word would be a little deeper than: The day after Sunday and before Tuesday. Well duh!

Let's face it, most of us are predetermined to dislike Monday (and dare I say, without a any good reason). Now people, it's not Monday's fault. Did you ever think it wanted to be a Thursday, but can't help the order it came in. Maybe it wanted to be a wild Friday night, or a lazy Sunday afternoon. Please be nice to Monday and maybe Monday will be nice to you...lol.

The simple fact is, once we let a negative thought about a place, time, thing or person become the dominant though about it/them, well we (not them) have set the gloom in motion. When we can (more often than can't), we should check ourselves and out attitude about it. Don't waste the day.

Still not convinced it was worth the two and a half minutes for this insight? Well think about it this way. Wigging about a Monday wastes (approximately) 1 day a week, 4 days a month, 52 days a year, and if you life til the young age of 80....4,160 days of your life! (That's OVER 11 years!)

So while a national free donuts Monday's would be amazing, so would looking on the bright side of a brand new Monday!
