I'm sitting here killing time and I thought "hey, blog"! It was a moment of pure genius I'm sure....ok I'd be more sure if spell check didn't have to just help me spell genius.
Anyway....
I snapped this pic a few days ago when I went for a stroll. Yes a stroll. Not a jog (because this much fluffy should NOT jiggle). Not a power walk (see previous jiggle notation). Not even a walk (which is a lot of thigh friction). A stroll...which I define as a leisurely pace, putting one foot in front of the other with stops to gaze at....nothing...and everything.
I'm not sure if city folk can stroll. The pace of the city moves faster. In the country, we can embrace it! We can find contentment smelling the fresh air (even when the farms spread manure). We like looking at the same flowers we see every year. And if we see a wild animal, well we have to take a pic and text, call or email someone.
Life is busy and stressful and a roller coaster ride most of the time. Talk a stroll, no music, no weights, no timer. Look around. See the beauty. Smell the air. Who knows, you might just relax and smile at...nothing, and find that's exactly what you needed.
Country life is good!
