The Masked Shoppers

Today there was one plan....

Roadtrip!!!

A two hour drive to shopping and crowds and good food. As many times as I've been here in the past, this year it's a whole new world. A world where people who once looked you in the eye and often smiled back is now hidden behind masks.

Something to think on is that not only are the masks hiding the smiles, they hide the worry some carry, the fear in others, the frustration of many as well. They are in a way making us alone in a crowd.

While the masks are meant for safety,  have you wondered if they are costing us something as well? Are people being trained to live in fear. Would someone help you if you fainted or had a heart attack, or would they just keep their six foot distance and let you suffer alone?

While Covid19 isn't a joke, do me a favor....

Remember to be kind.
Remember to show compassion.
Remember to help your fellow man.
And smile! A real smile reaches the eyes and in this crazy world, a smile can make a difference.
